Our Toddler Is a Streaker

Well, it has finally happened. Kenna's new favorite thing to do is to strip down and run around stark raving naked, as her Grandma J would say. We first discovered this new trick after she had spent quite a bit of time in "room time" while the older kids did language arts with me. She was apparently naked long enough to piddle on the floor--sigh. I had hoped it was an activity borne out of boredom and figured perhaps it wouldn't happen with any alarming frequency, but I was wrong. Five minutes after getting out of "room time," she was running around naked again.

Onesies are now the fashion apparel of choice around here.

Today I put Evan in his zip-up-the-back sleeper for naptime (my attempt at keeping his diaper on him!), and a little while later I heard him crying distraughtly. I went to check, and he had somehow managed to get his left arm up and out of the neck of the pajamas. I'm running out of ideas...

I know it's not funny and it made me smile this morning and I really need to smile, thanks. Maybe it's time to introduce the potty? Or if you've already introduced it to suggest it as soon as you see her naked? I don't know if that would help, the other kids could help "remind" her to try the potty. Although she sounds very independant and will do what Kenna wants to do. Good luck and thank again for the chuckle.
